CPR Book Award Submission Guidelines

The annual Cider Press Review Book Award offers a $1,500 prize, publication, and 25 author’s copies of a book length collection of poetry. Author receives a standard publishing contract. Initial print run is not less than 1,000 copies. SUBMISSION PERIOD IS SEPTEMBER 1 to NOVEMBER 30 ANNUALLY.

The Editor’s Prize offers a $1,000 prize, publication, and 25 author’s copies of an author’s first or second book length collection of poetry. Author receives a standard publishing contract. Initial print run is not less than 1,000 copies. SUBMISSION PERIOD IS APRIL 1 to JUNE 30 ANNUALLY

The St. Lawrence Book Award

Each year Black Lawrence Press will award The St. Lawrence Book Award for an unpublished first collection of poems or short stories. The St. Lawrence Book Award is open to any writer who has not yet published a full-length collection of short stories or poems. The winner of this contest will receive book publication, a $1,000 cash award, and ten copies of the book. Prizes are awarded on publication.
